This 2025 update to the report was written by Caterina Bove, Matteo Astuti, Chiara Pigato and Giovanni Papotti, of the Association for Legal Studies on Immigration (ASGI), and edited by ECRE.
This report draws on practice by ASGI legal representatives across the different regions of Italy, as well as available statistical information and reports, case law and other publicly available sources.
The 2025 update to the AIDA country report on Italy was sent to the Ministry of Interior, to grant the opportunity to provide comments on the draft country report.
