Country Report: First country of asylum

While the LITP does not define the concept of first country of asylum, an application may be dismissed as inadmissible where the applicant has been granted international protection or enjoys sufficient protection from refoulement in a third country.[1] In 2018, no decision was taken based on the concept of first country of asylum.[2] No information on decisions taken based on the concept of first country of asylum from 2019 until the end of 2022 is available.
